Objective

Cross Sound Ferry  is a major transportation link between New York and New England.  Transactions were running “flat” during a period of rising costs in the face of superior service by Cross Sound Ferry.  The challenge was to redirect and enhance marketing efforts to exploit higher opportunity areas.

 

Solution

The Digital Motion marketing group, using market research, opportunity analysis and data assessment of existing passengers, determined that a focused campaign to the New England area would stimulate new passengers.  A combination of a Google Optimization Program coupled with targeted event promotions has resulted in a sharp increase in incremental ridership.
